Well I guess yesterday's monster cycling did the trick, as I've reached my weekly target in two days! Guess I'll just have to keep it going! I think I'll aim for another couple of pounds by next Sunday.
Stuck my diet today with a good level of success, and managed to eschew alcohol for the second day running! Woo! Yay! I have a couple of social occasions this week, including the school BBQ on Thursday, so I may treat myself then, although certainly I am not going to go nuts. I think my body has already lost its reliance on alcohol to get to sleep as I'm having no problems at the moment, even my brain has settled down from its constant pointless whirling (although I have things on my mind as I have received some quite bad news - news I cannot post here until the (hopefully) happy resolution).
