Well, I'm back from my hols. I shouldn't be too dis-spirited as I only put three pounds on, although this add to the five I'd already put back on. I kept myself busy during my hols, with plenty of walking and didn't go to excesses with either food or alcohol, which is unlike me! So, off we go again! Tried to cycle to work today but I got to the station and no trains were running, so had to cycle back home and take the car. Played footie with my son in the back garden, and then with friends later on. My soccer-skills seem to have improved out of all proportion of late (although I remained pretty poor) - I'm more relaxed with this bunch of lads than my previous lot who used to treat every kickabout as a cup final.
