Well, I've decided now to go cold turkey on the alcohol front. After football training tomorrow we're going to finish off all the alcohol in the house and from that point on I'm going to see how long I can go without drinking. I'm DEFINITELY not going to drink AT ALL next week, and see what difference that makes to the (currently static) weight-loss. It's no coincidence that both times I DID actually manage to lose weight I hardly drank! Anyway, tonight was my ninth wedding anniversary so me and wifey went out for a jolly wonderful Italian meal accompanied by a really pleasant bottle of red wine. This is a far cry from a year ago when we didn't even celebrate due to the marital problems we were encountering at the time, indeed I spent a very uncomfortable night in my car the night after!
